Body & Facial Piercing Aftercare

Clean your piercing twice a day with a mild anticrobial soap such as Provon.
With clean hands, work the soap gently around and into the piercing with your fingertips or a Q-tips with warm water. Your piercing will generally “crust up” during the healing process in between cleanings. This is normal, but you do need to clean this off your piercing, rinse all the soap off and out of your piercing and do not touch it until your next cleaning.
Sea salt soaks can help speed up the healing process. Use a pinch of non-iodized sea salt with a cup of warm to hot water cup the solution under your piercing and let soak for 3-5 minutes once a day. For piercings that can not be soaked with a cup, you may use a Q-tip with the solution and clean it as you would with soap. Rinse of your piercing afterwards.

DO NOT put excessive pressure on the your piercing with tight clothing or by sleeping on it. This will cause your piercing to migrate and possibly reject from your skin.

DO NOT submerge your piercing in water until it’s fully healed. This includes, pools, Jacuzzis and even bathtubs.
